Oakridge Mohali Ranks #1 in EWIS
We take utmost pride in being awarded as the top International Day School in Mohali 9th time in a row, at Education World National School Rankings 2024. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Oakridge community for their unwavering support.
Annual Parent Satisfaction Survey: We shall be launching the Parent Satisfaction Survey during the second week of November, anticipating your valuable feedback and thoughts on how to create an enhanced school community to cater you better.
In the spirit of Diwali, students and staff came together to celebrate this festival of lights. The school grounds were adorned with beautiful decorations, and classrooms were filled with colorful rangoli designs. Our students learned about the significance of Diwali, participated in diya decoration, and shared the joy of this auspicious occasion. This celebration not only honored tradition but also fostered a sense of unity among all.
Many were eagerly waiting for Raza Annual Concert, needless to say, it all went beyond expectations. The students of PYP and secondary schools once again proved their talent right from the lighting and the camera to the vote of thanks done. This exceptional event has etched itself into the history of Oakridge, making it truly unforgettable.
The nursery field trip at Air Force Headquarters was sensitized on historical issues like the 1971 Karachi attack. From such stories and imagery, they learned of the courage of the Air Force and the aspect of togetherness in the time of adversity. The use of information kiosks and creativity kept them fully engaged with an understanding and curiosity of aviation promoting ideas of flying. The staff was particularly welcoming, making certain it was full of fun, and better still the kids went around informed.
We congratulate our young talents of Oakridge School, Mohali, who won the first position in the Under-12 Open State Yoga Championship! Kudos to our dedicated team and coach for their outstanding contributions.
Jang Fateh Singh Mann stood out as he emerged winner of the boy’s U-10 singles event in the Youth Pro Tennis League held at the Champions Lawn Tennis Centre in Panchkula. The overall positive performance and intense attitude at the tournament paid him these merits and showed his ability in the game.
Our Oakridge students have always showcased exemplary athletic skill sets and with immense pleasure, we congratulate Afreen on qualifying for the U-17 Girls Football National Camp.
Along with her the following students performed exceptionally well and got qualified at the Football State level.
They all deserve the praise for their determination, hard work, and passion, keep carrying this spirit forward and making the school proud!

In terms of the district competition, we have shown great skills through our Lawn Tennis players, winning the following positions.
The above students have been selected to represent the school and participate in the Punjab School Games 2024, a competition to be held in Ludhiana. Well done to our players, we are quite looking forward to seeing them outshine on the state podium!

Our Grade 9A student, Sabreen, was able to secure the top six finishes in the DAA State Shot Put competition in Ludhiana that was held recently. This is a rare feat in athletics and comes after considerable effort and commitment. Well done, Sabreen, on this achievement!
All our athletes showed admirable focus and discipline in their respective fields and stood perfect examples of excellence.
We must congratulate Dilraj Kaur Grewal and Aseem Kaur for reaching the state championships for the U-19 Girls. Analyzing their performance it is evident that they dedicated their time and effort, as well as talent to achieve this milestone. We wish you the best so that they can represent their team in the state level.
International Library Week at Oakridge was an explosion of excitement for books and art based on community connectors theme as students partook in a variety of reading and writing challenges organized in the form of co, storytelling, and author interactions. The week promoted reading and offered practical sessions to both young readers and writers which was worth cherishing.
October concluded with a beautiful theme of change and new beginnings. Such events further enriched our students and staff to become exemplary ambassadors of Oakridge’s vision, mission & values. We eagerly await November to come and create even more learning and fun milestones for us.
