Celebrating Academic Excellence

We are thrilled to share some fantastic news with our Oakridge community. For the ninth consecutive year, Oakridge Visakhapatnam has secured 1st place in the Education World National School Rankings 2024 for International Day-cum-Boarding Schools in Andhra Pradesh!

Also, Oakridge International School, Visakhapatnam has been ranked No. 2 in India, No. 1 in Andhra Pradesh, and No. 1 in Visakhapatnam under the category Top 10 Day-cum-Boarding Schools (International Curriculum – IB/Cambridge International), in the Education Today: India School Merit Awards 2024. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible community—this achievement speaks volumes about your unwavering support and trust.

During the recent NAE SLT Conference, we also celebrated another proud moment. Our school was recognized with the Best CBSE Grade 12 Results 2024 award among all our group schools, presented by our CEO Andrew Fitzmaurice and Lord David Puttnam. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both our students and staff.

OISV MUN: A Platform for Global Dialogue

Our students are making a mark at the OISV Model United Nations (MUN), taking place from November 8-10. Over these three days, they are engaging in meaningful discussions and presenting their insights on critical Sustainable Development Goals. We are incredibly proud of the dedication shown by our student leaders, who are shaping the future with their passion and commitment.

Celebrating Student Achievements

We are delighted to celebrate the success of several of our students. Congratulations to Dhaavan from Grade 4, who delivered an outstanding performance in skating, winning two gold medals and a silver, earning a spot on the state team!

We are also excited to announce that Riea Jasmine and Venkata Kala Lasya, both from Grade 10, have qualified for the state-level Lawn Tennis competition after excelling in the SGFI district selections. The event will be held at DSA Stadium in Kakinada from October 28-30.

A special commendation goes to Dihen from Grade 8, who delivered an exceptional performance in Fin swimming, securing first place in the heats with an impressive time of 30 seconds, and earning himself a spot at the National Championships.

Festive Celebrations: Diwali and Halloween

Our recent celebrations brought joy and creativity to the school. During Diwali, students decorated the school corridors with handmade lanterns, fairy lights, and festive decorations. The halls were beautifully illuminated, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. The collaborative effort was a true reflection of Oakridge’s community spirit.

The Halloween Costume Parade was another highlight, with students from Primary and Early Years classes showing off a variety of imaginative costumes. From friendly ghosts and witches to superheroes and fairytale characters, the colourful outfits filled the school with energy and excitement.

16^th Annual Sports Prize Day (Grades 4-12): Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 23! We invite you to join us for a thrilling day as our students showcase their talents. This event will feature a variety of drills, dance performances, yoga, and taekwondo displays, followed by the prize-giving ceremony for our sports competitions.
