Esteemed parents,

We are excited to have our students return to the campus after the enchanting winter holidays. So, as we embark on this new year we are filled with excitement and optimism. It is an absolute delight to see the renewed spirit of each class, new possibilities, and revamped creative angles with readiness for learning. We wish our learners a year of inspiration, innovation, and success as they head toward a new beginning to fulfill their dreams. As the New Year dawns, I am confident that our parent community will be looking forward to the new happenings of January 2025. Here’s a glimpse of what’s to come:

World Hindi Day

January witnessed our students celebrating the beauty of our language on World Hindi Day. A special assembly showcasing social-cultural aspects of Hindi as part of the rich Indian culture poem through poem recitals was performed by the students.

Lohri Celebrations

In the social front of the school, the New Year celebration began on a higher octave with the buoyant celebration of Lohri. Each one of us, celebrated Lohri with zeal, and even the walls of our campus witnessed the charm of the Lohri spirit. It was a perfect vibrant sunny day with the traditional flavors of popcorn, sesame sweets, and peanuts all around. Teachers added their essence of sweetness to this festivity by singing cultural songs and dancing together.

Makar Sankranti

Creativity took flight a day after the Lohri celebrations, when our school seemed to go up in delight as we got engaged in preparation for Makar Sankranti. All our creative learners have been toiling hard, making beautiful hand-made kites waiting for them to see those fly high in the sky just like their dreams.

Cambridge International Education Masterclass – A Valuable Opportunity

It will be an absolute pleasure to host the Cambridge International Education Masterclass that will take place on January 17th. This event will be a great chance for career counsellors, coordinators, and admission officers to improve their knowledge of international education. A quite an insightful masterclass to acquire detailed knowledge for shaping the future of our students as well as education around the globe.

Republic Day Celebrations

Republic Day is another important event that will be celebrated with utmost pride at Oakridge followed by a flag-hosting ceremony, melodious patriotic compositions, speeches, poems, and cultural skits on the historical background of India.

Annual Sports Day (Early & Primary Years)

Our youngest performing athletes will grace the Annual Sports Day in January. It will be a great event full of energy, enthusiasm, and a competitive spirit since accompanying the parents to participate and relish this grand ceremony.

As we step into this promising new year of learning, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our parent community and look forward to strengthening our partnership even more. Together, I am optimistic that we shall continue to witness our children grow, learn, and accomplish their aspirations.
