Dear Parents,

As we step into new year, we carry forward the joy, learning, and achievements of the past months. January has been a month of vibrant celebrations, meaningful initiatives, and engaging learning experiences at Oakridge Bachupally.

From the Sankranti festivities that brought our community together in celebration, to the STEAM Fest that sparked creativity and curiosity, our campus has been abuzz with energy and growth. Events like the Parent-Teacher Meeting and Three-Way Conferences highlighted the strength of collaboration between parents, students, and teachers, nurturing a shared commitment to progress.

It’s also heartening to see our students engage with important topics like sustainability and mental well-being. These moments not only enhance their learning but also instill values that shape them into thoughtful and compassionate individuals.

As we continue on this journey together, I want to thank you for your unwavering support and collaboration. Here’s to a year filled with meaningful connections, inspiring achievements, and a shared vision for the future.

The vibrant essence of Sankranti filled our campus as students came together to celebrate with creativity, tradition, and joy. From Surya Namaskar to colorful rangolis and kite flying, the day reflected culture, unity, and festive cheer at Oakridge Bachupally.

Parent – Teacher Connections

Our Early Years Parent-Teacher Meeting was a wonderful opportunity to share insights about students’ progress. Parents enjoyed meaningful discussions and a lively trivia session, strengthening the bond between home and school.

Cambridge Primary students proudly shared their work at the Affinity Club Showcase. From creative projects to engaging performances, their confidence and enthusiasm lit up the event, making it a day to remember.

Three Way Conference

Students, teachers, and parents came together to review learning progress and set goals. These discussions gave students the chance to share their reflections, while parents and teachers supported their growth, creating a strong sense of partnership.

Sharing the Planet: Unit End Celebrations

Grade 2 students presented their work on sustainability through colourful displays, creative models, and performances. They shared their learning about responsibility and care for the planet, inspiring everyone to think about how we can make a difference.

Our Grade 6–8 cricket team celebrated a big win at the U18 World Olympic Fest Cricket Tournament! Their dedication, teamwork, and hard work made this success possible, showing the importance of sports in shaping well-rounded individuals.

A Talk on Climate Change

Vardhini Amin’s guest lecture introduced students to climate change and ways to care for the environment. Using examples from The Forestborns, she inspired them to take small steps to protect our planet and consider their role in building a better future.

DP Computer Science students explored the inner workings of laptops with the guidance of Mr. Ranjith. They examined processors, memory, and other components, connecting classroom lessons to real-world technology and sparking their interest in how things work.

Gujarat Discoveries: A Journey of Learning

Oakridgers from Grades 4–9, 11, and DP1 explored Gujarat during the Sankranti break. From the historic Sabarmati Ashram to the awe-inspiring Statue of Unity, and the serene Rann of Kutch, the trip was a perfect blend of history, culture, and discovery.

Empathy In Action

Our PYP students visited The Nest old age home, sharing gifts, laughter, and meaningful moments. They learned the joy of giving and built connections that taught them about gratitude and the importance of caring for others.

Joy of Giving

CAIE students in Grades 6–10 organized a donation drive, collecting essentials like grains, toiletries, and groceries. Their visit to Sneha Sadan, a home for children, was a heartfelt gesture of care, reflecting the values of compassion and social responsibility.
