Cricket ACT (Australian Capital Territory) Women’s professional team – ACT Meteors visited India and conducted sessions for Oakridge International School Bengaluru students. Cricket ACT is the governing body for cricket in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. They pride themselves on being well-equipped and highly respected to deliver a wide range of cricket activities tailored for schools.

The women’s cricket team took 3 sessions on – Leadership, Strength and Conditioning and Practical Sessions. Students from PYP, MYP & DP were split across the 3 sessions with the options to choose 2 out of the 3 sessions.

The clinics provided Oakridgers with hands-on cricket training, focusing on skill development and simulated match training. The leadership clinics sparked interest and helped to build a foundation in cricket basics, ensuring that every participant feels included and excited to learn. Strength and Conditioning sessions focused on enhancing physical fitness and overall athletic performance.

Cricket ACT provides services to all cricketers of all skill sets and levels of experience in the Canberra region. Since 1922, it has been the peak body for all forms of cricket in the Australian Capital Territory and region.
