The Perfect 45 Story
- 25 August 2020
With the recently announced revised IBDP Grade 12 results, Oakridge added a new feather in its cap of academic achievements. Three students achieved ‘the perfect 45’ score in the DP results this year setting a new milestone in the school’s history. Over 92 students appeared for the exams across Oakridge schools, with 51% students recording a score of 35 and above. Oakridge International School Gachibowli recorded an all-time high of 35.49 average diploma score against the global average of 31.38.
IBDP students at Oakridge gain skills in research, communication, teamwork, and leadership through core practices including the Theory of Knowledge, community service activities, and the extended essay. Our strategic development programs provide them the opportunity to explore their knowledge in platforms like Model UN, global entrepreneurship and leadership programs, which helps them develop as self-driven learners that are reflected in our results.
Speaking on the occasion, Hema Chennupaty, Principal, Oakridge Gachibowli School said, “It is a landmark result in School history, and this was possible because of the amazing talent of the students and the dedication of teachers who want the best for each child. This result is a clear indicator that students at Oakridge are aware of their potential and are all-rounders through and through. Special congratulations to our three perfect 45 scorers.”
