“Without change, there would be no butterflies. I could learn a thing or two from the butterfly’s relationship with change. We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” — Maya Angelou
As the leaves began to turn and the air grew crisp, October blossomed into a month of impressive achievements and vibrant community spirit among our students. Their active participation in various roles showcased their growth and commitment, while collaborative projects fostered teamwork and creativity. We also enjoyed several community-building activities that brought students, parents, and faculty together, celebrating our shared values, reminding us of the power of unity in creating a supportive and thriving school environment.
Oakridge Bachupally is excited to collaborate with Richard Dyer, Principal of Dover Court International School in Singapore, to enhance its educational strategy. With over 40 years of experience in international education, Mr. Dyer will work alongside the senior leadership team to foster innovation, critical thinking, academic rigor, and global competence, ensuring students are well-prepared for future challenges.
I am thrilled to share some exciting news that marks a significant milestone for our institution. We have successfully obtained the access code necessary for ordering the PSAT and SAT test suite, officially designating us as an authorized testing centre. This prestigious status enables us to serve both our internal students and those from the broader community.
At Oakridge Bachupally, our Grade 6-8 IGCSE students showcased innovative ideas on sustainable development through cultural displays and workshops. The recent University Fair connected students and parents with top institutions, exploring diverse career paths. Meanwhile, Primary students celebrated Hindi Diwas with heartfelt poems and performances, and Little Oakridgers crafted eco-friendly Ganeshas from leaves, promoting sustainability. These activities highlight our dedication to fostering creativity, cultural appreciation, and environmental responsibility among our students.
It was that special time of year when parents and teachers united to discuss the individual progress of each child. Armed with Term 1 results, these discussions provided an opportunity to reflect, strategize, and outline a supportive plan for the upcoming months, ensuring that every student’s journey toward growth was well-defined and nurtured.
The Inter-House Sports Competition was a dynamic showcase where spirited rivalry and exhilarating teamwork collided in an epic quest for glory and bragging rights.
Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this new chapter together!
