At Oakridge, every year, we eagerly anticipate the arrival of Incredible India Week, a time when our school community comes together to honour and celebrate the spirit of freedom. With an array of patriotic fervour and vibrant activities, our Independence Day celebrations were beyond the ordinary, instilling a sense of national pride and unity among our students, teachers, and parents.

A Glimpse of the Celebrations:

The day began with the flag hoisting by our principal Ms Pallavi Mishra, followed by the singing of the national anthem by our spirited students.

Cultural Extravaganza: Our students took center stage as they showcased their talents through various cultural performances. From patriotic songs & poems to heartwarming skits depicting the struggle for independence, our young performers captured the essence of the freedom movement.

Artistic Expressions: Fashion parade themed around Independence Day allowed our creative minds to express their thoughts and feelings about their role models. From Gandhi’s humility to Nehru’s elegance, from Bose’s determination to Rani Laxmi Bai’s bravery, the past met the present in a dazzling parade of Independence Day fashion.
