This month, our educators across all grades have put together their innovative projects, successful classroom activities, and unique teaching strategies that they have implemented. See January’s highlights in the link below to understand what’s been happening in your ward’s IB classroom!
Students from grades 6 to 11 attended an engaging workshop organized in collaboration with Adobe. It was facilitated by expert trainers Ms. Sudeshna Chatterjee and Ms. Tulika Srivastava.
The session inspired our learners to explore the features of Adobe Express. They also took part in a design challenge to create posters and videos using the Generative AI feature of Adobe Express.
Students learned the importance of ethical and responsible use of AI along with understanding its limitations. Another interesting aspect was the way children communicated their ideas and thoughts in the form of prompts to the AI. They continuously kept on refining their prompts till they got their desired output. The workshop provided a platform for students to explore their creative skills and utilize the power of advanced technology, enabling them to bring their ideas to life.

MYP1 students explored local ecosystems on a nature walk, observing biodiversity and ecological interactions. They creatively documented their findings through detailed mind maps, demonstrating ATL skills like research, critical thinking, and communication.
This activity highlighted the Learner Profile attributes of Inquirers and Caring, fostering international mindedness by addressing global sustainability challenges. Aligned with the global context of Globalization and Sustainability, students reflected on systems, interdependence, and change, inspiring eco-friendly actions and deeper ecological understanding.
