“This may not be the most popular path, but this is the best one for me”, says Advait from IBDP 2 at Oakridge International School Bengaluru after securing 208th rank in the national level CLAT 2025 exam.
The Common Law Admission Test, known as CLAT, is a national-level law entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). It facilitates admission to 5-year integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) courses.
Advait highlighted the importance of balancing time between preparing for standardized tests like CLAT and IB assessments. “You must be passionate about the profession as it is not a career path that you can pursue as a placeholder, while trying to decide on your future” he added.
He also encourages everyone to evaluate the pro & cons while planning higher education- Duration of studies, cost of schooling, distance from family, quality of education, placements, scholarships etc.
