Dear Parent,

Henry James claimed that ‘summer afternoon’ were the two most beautiful words that he found in the English language. It is indeed true; summers have a certain aura around them that makes every child anticipate the arrival of the season. Be it the vacations or the end of the examinations, summers signify freedom of spirit for our young ones.

Understanding the challenges that come with the rising heat wave around the city, we have revised the school timings for our students. As you are aware, the school is now functioning in half-day mode. Our Grade 8 and 9 CBSE students began the next step of their academic journey. I am certain that they will have the most wholesome learning journey ahead of them.

It is a matter of pride that our student Rohan from CBSE grade 12 bagged the third position in US Junior Squash Nationals. I extend my heartiest wishes to him for achieving the notable feat and leading Oakridge, Gachibowli forward. Our MYP students expressed themselves through the medium of theatre by wholeheartedly participating in the World Theatre Day.

The month is now lined up with Graduation Days and PTSMs. All of us at Oakridge, Gachibowli, look forward to meeting you very soon and sharing your child’s learning journey.
