- 31 January 2022
India is a country with a spectrum of languages, cultures, traditions, rituals, and festivals. Every day there is a festival in some part of the country and people stay in celebration mode always.
Students at Oakridge International School, Mohali learned about the different auspicious festivals celebrated around the 13th and 14th of January in different corners of the nation. The most prominent ones being Pongal, Bihu, Lohri and Makar Sakranti.
The students tasted the Unity in Diversity and Rich Cultural Heritage of India, which resonated with our goal of creating Global Citizens, who believe in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
