Oakridgers ace it in Sports once again!

Ken Doherty quoted: “The five S’s of sports are: stamina, speed, strength, skill, and spirit; but the greatest of these is spirit.” Oakridgers are known for their high spirit in sport and in life. Many of the little champs have proved the same at national and international events in recent times.
Oakridge International School, Mohali has added many feathers to its cap recently brother- sister duo won laurels for the school. Nimish of Grade 7 excelled and bagged the 1st position in 33rd Punjab Roller Skating Championship in the under 14 Artistic category and his sister, Naysha from Grade 3 won two silver and one bronze medal, in speed inline. In the 5th National Student Games Hartegh Singh, Nishit Kansotia, Vaibhav Thakur and Sukhpinder Singh secured 3rd position in under 17 categories in Football.
As part of International participation, our kids participated in Nord Anglia Education Global Sports Competition. Vardaan Dhand and Eshrat Kaur of grade 4 secured 7th and 18th position respectively, and Riya of grade 3A stood 7th position amongst the top 30 in the 5km race. Riya also participated in Open Lawn Tennis tournament, organized by Paragon Rising Star Tennis Academy and she secured 2nd position in the under 12 and the under 14 categories.
