How do you feel about the acceptance to UT Austin?

I was amazed, shocked and extremely excited when I saw my acceptance. UT Austin, and the Dean’s Scholars program are directly aligned with my future career goal: Molecular biology research. I am super thankful for my teachers, our counselor and everyone involved in the process!

How did you prepare for placements?

The most difficult and important task was managing my academics with all my extracurricular activities. I prepared for this by creating schedules, taking support from my teachers in subjects and extracurriculars, and making sure to have time for relaxation as well.

Any tip/strategy to those who aspire to study abroad with scholarship

It is extremely important to pursue extracurricular activities that you are passionate about. This is often overlooked. While academics should be our top priority, for US admissions, extracurriculars have a lot of value! This is why I think time management is key.
