I am also glad to note that about 90% of the parents have expressed satisfaction with the parental involvement in school and the information shared outside academic progress. A similar number of parents have appreciated the variety of technology tools the school provides to support their child’s learning and the amount of homework they get.

There is happiness with the work of the Class Teachers, especially, and other subject teachers in general, and this is reflected in the very high ratings given by the parents. 

You have also requested us to focus on student discipline and this is the school’s highest priority area as we come back to fully in-person schooling from the coming academic year. We shall continue to improve on our systems of recruitment, training, and retention of the highest quality of teachers. 

What is clear, however, is that there is the need for us to dialogue more with you as parents on the academic curriculum and expected learning outcomes across ages and grades. There is a request for greater focus on specialization in Activities such as Dance, Drama, and Music as well as Sports and we are working on strategies to encourage the same. There has also been the request for greater focus on enhancing communication skills and our updated School Language Policy, will incorporate some of the strategies to improve in this area.  

We found that you were very appreciative of our policy on Safety and Security. I am glad that you have noticed the continued effort made in this area and assure you that Student Safeguarding will continue to be our priority. Staying with administrative systems, you also praised our efforts at ensuring high levels of hygiene in the classrooms, washrooms, and dining hall as well. Based on feedback received, not just in the survey but also at the Coffee Conversations and other conversations we have had, the two principal focus areas for us will be to further improve the variety of food served in the school, as well as our systems of procurement of uniforms and stationery. 

Your Segment’s Academic Coordinator will be updating you with details about specific actions that will be taken at the Grade level, and this will be followed by execution details from the Class teacher who will focus on plans for his/her section.
