Ms. Saraswathi Kalpak

Ms. Saraswathi Kalpak has been an esteemed member of the Oakridge community since 2013. Over the past 10 years, she has held various roles within the school, showcasing her versatility and dedication to excellence.
During her tenure at Oakridge, Ms. Saraswathi has served as a class teacher and English Teacher for Cambridge Primary, demonstrating her expertise in fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. She has also taken on the responsibilities of Team Leader for Cambridge Primary, Activity Coordinator for Primary (overseeing both Cambridge Primary and IB PYP), Arts Coordinator for the entire school, and CAS Coordinator for IBDP, showcasing her commitment to comprehensive education.
Academically, she holds a Masters in Business Administration and a B.Ed. degree, demonstrating her strong foundation in both educational and managerial domains. Additionally, she has achieved distinction in Theatre Grade 1 through Trinity College of London Examination. Committed to continuous professional development, she has completed IB Professional Development Category 1 – IB Primary Years Programme and has successfully completed five leadership courses on the NAU platform, including Inspirational Leadership, The Mindful Leader, How to communicate with parents in learning, Leadership: A Big Read, and Leadership for School Improvement.
Ms. Saraswathi’s strengths lie in her collaborative nature, which enables her to excel in team environments. Her positive attitude and quick learning abilities further contribute to her success as an educator. She consistently encourages her team to embrace creativity and innovation, inspiring students to think outside the box and explore new ideas. By implementing hands-on learning activities and experiential learning approaches, she nurtures students’ innate creative talents and enhances subject matter retention.
As the Head of Early Years, Ms. Saraswathi brings her wealth of experience, dedication, and passion to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. Her leadership and commitment to fostering creativity and innovation will undoubtedly contribute to their holistic development. We are privileged to have her leading our Early Years department, guiding both students and educators on their educational journey.
